Over the last few weeks I have been working on dejunking my 3,000 square foot house. This has been an overwhelming task. I would say that right now I am at the half way mark. I still have much more that needs to be done. I have been working on one room at a time, giving away many things and attempting to sell things of value that I don’t need. I have found that during this process of conquering my overwhelming pack rat ways, it has improved my self esteem. I never thought that getting rid of a little junk would boost me up so much. I feel happy and more comfortable in my surroundings, eventually I will be more comfortable in my own home. I set up a reward for myself every time a reach a goal on my things to do list. When I reached my half way mark I rewarded myself with a peticure. Hopefully by downsizing what I don’t need will help me to stick to some new and good habits.
